    Should I drop bio?????

    Lol. Oops. EDIT.

    Should I drop bio?????

I would say just keep all twelve units. Plenty of people get great UAIs doing 12 units. Statistically, it's been shown that those who do more than ten units get better HSC/UAI results. That's what my career advisor said.

    Armenian Genocide - formulating a Q.

Lol, nah I'm not doign the Armenian genocide. I'm doing the extent to which the Vichy government contributed to the Final Solution. So many historians I have to work through! Oooh okay (about your proposals). I just feel like the summer holidays is the best time for you to be firmly...

    Armenian Genocide - formulating a Q.

The easiest question you could investigate, for this particular case is: Should the Armenian "Genocide" be recognised as such? There is still considerable historical debate surrounding this, and your first question alludes to this fact quite nicely. I feel that I can't comment too much...

    Modern History Textbooks

Re: Excel vs. Macquarie Revision Guides Personally, I despise using Excel. Books without solid structure really put me off. Haven't had the time to look at Macquarie in depth, but I feel like the source questions may be quite misleading and not indicative of real HSC exams. What I do for my...

    Australian Open

Molik needs to work on her non-existent backhand. Her forehand swipes are bit too big sometimes (hence framing) but overall it's a good weapon. Obviously her big weapon is her serve, but she has to work on getting faster. But then she's much better than 62...

    Australian Open

Sharapova meets Davenport in the 2R, so chances are you might not see her beyond Wednesday. And I agree with her screeching: someone should DO something about it. Monica Seles was told to shut up before Wimbledon 1992, and lost to Graf something like 62 61 LOL. Even if it's just for a...

    Australian Open

No, you can't judge a person's form from one match, but if it's a beatdown like such, he's not exactly heading for optimum form is he? But that said, he HAS beaten Federer on hard courts before. My point still remains though: Nadal is prone to be overpowered on hard courts, and his results...

    UNSW or USYD for Medicine?

Oh, so you had UNSW as your first choice then?

    Australian Open

Nadal lost 60 61 against Youzny in Chennai a week ago. Enough said, really... he's not in fantastic form, and not to mention the pressure on his athletic body increases in Australia. He's really prone to be being blasted off court on surfaces not on clay. Look at what Gonzalez did to him a...

    Australian Open

Lleyton Hewitt is all talk. LOL. I think he has Safin/Marcos 3R, Djokovic 4th.

    Australian Open

Mens' Singles: I hope Roddick wins it, to inject some interest into the game (since doubters have been saying that he's never going to win a slam again etc). But if I was betting my house, my bets would be on Federer. I don't like Djokovic: not only do I think he's a total jackass, but he takes...

Most annoying book of all time

    Point taken.

Most annoying book of all time

The character Albus Dumbledore is gay. Google it. It was all over the news when JKR announced it. And just because a character is gay, makes the whole series the most annoying books of all time? Bigot.

does ANYBODY enjoy their text for english?

Yeah, Clueless is a fun film to do.

    ATTENTION past HSC success people!!

How did you only get 99.65 with those marks? I mean, yeah 99.65 is brilliant but your marks seems deserving of a whole lot higher, considering that they all scale well also.

Tips for 2008 HSC Class/Things You Wish You Knew Before Starting Your HSC

True. A more accurate statement would be: STRIVE FOR THE HIGHEST RANK YOU CAN GET. Which equates to: DO THE BEST YOU CAN. The best advice is to do the best you can and give yourself every opportunity to do so. :)

Is it normal to be stressing about the HSC already?

Hmmm. I'm not stressed over the HSC at all. Not at this stage. There are moments when I think that I can't achieve my best and I start feeling guilty about going out with friends or wasting time youtubing when I could be learning language techniques or whatever. Those are the times when I...

feeling the crunch from year 11

You'll notice that only some concepts from the year eleven chemistry course translate into the year twelve course. These include endothermic/exothermic reactions, molar calculations, combustion, molar heat of combustion etc. The very important concepts. So if anything, if you come across these...
