My stupid computer keeps freezing! How do I prevent this?

Need more info: *How old is your computer *What are its specs *What are you trying to run etc... If you watch a lot of porn/stream free tv shows or use something like limewire it puts a lot of crap on your computer that slows it down. Try systems restore (if the problem is new) or a...

    UWS really isn't that bad.

This thread has become so off topic and down to personal attacks... I am closing it.

    Transfering And Such...

As it has been said you can do a search, keep in mind that a lot of what you will read will be biased (i.e. by people who go there like me) or will be some one mouthing off about what their dad's cousins brother who actually knows nothing about UWS/MQ told them, comments by trolls and HSC kids...

    UWS really isn't that bad.

No I am saying that saying that judging people's intelligence/aptitude in being a student etc by a song that they like is stupid. Stuff on the internet goes around, not all people see it straight away. I saw it ages ago and it still stirs a little chuckle. You don't have to like it, just...

    UWS really isn't that bad.

I see your university has taught you excellent analytical skills and how to present a logical and well founded argument. Congratulations. I admit that MQ isn't the best place, in fact I have been quite honest on these boards in saying that is law faculty does not deserve the rep it has over...

    UWS really isn't that bad.

Yes, I am sure not a single USYDer likes that song  People at MQ like it and I see people streaming it on their laptops all the time. Grow a sense of humour and stop being a snob...honestly if you wonder why people think Usyders as stuff and snobby thats a prime example.

How to prepare for the clerkship season

I have been very persistent and will continue to do so even if it kills me...I have sent off 20-30 "keep me on file in case anything comes up" and as many law grad positions as I can find in acc firms, consulting firms and law firms...even some in Canberra although I'd prefer not to have to...

    UWS really isn't that bad.

This unsubstantiated comment is both offensive to tafe and UWS. Tafe and UWS are different things with different aims. I don't understand why people bag on tafe, honestly its aimed at technical knowledge, trades etc. Some tradies would be smarter and make more money than you ever will...

    the pill

I have a friend who is on Yasmin and she said its very sensitive, like if she misses just one she starts breakthrough bleeding...I think because its a lower level or hormones or somethings...Perhaps just check it by your doctor incase its a sign that its not strong enough, I don't think it would...

Yeah she should have settled into it now. Maybe try something else before going to the burden of the expensive ones.

    UWS really isn't that bad.

I am happy to leave this thread if it is constructive, however if people are going to fill it with "UWS sucks"" and other unfounded comments I will close it. If I end up closing it I appologise OP but most trolls on this forum target threads like this.

How to prepare for the clerkship season

Currently anything that gets me a job. I'd love somewhere that has a variety of areas so I can see what I like. So far I know I like working in litigation.

How to prepare for the clerkship season

Casual work that fits around uni hours?

No one can tell you which law firms will have vacancies nor do they often advertise. Any jobs/interviews I have got generally have been from googling law firms in the geographic area and contacting them by email attaching my details, cv, resume etc...Its your best bet. If you do it this way...

    the pill

These are the PBS ones pbs.gov.au - Consumers - Search results I don't see anything comparable but perhaps she should ask her doctor for something different? Maybe something different to them both? Sometimes it can take a while to find the right one. How long has she been in Levlen? I...

Becoming a barrister in QLD - questions

Having worked for barristers for about two years I can second this. The ones I have worked for were well established and were far from poor BUT they were constantly owed money. I'd do their billing and even if you send periodic bills for work up until the date they would still be owed a fair...
