    ATAR Estimate?

Was just wondering if someone could give me an ATAR estimate now that I have trial marks back? Thanks :) Also, we did CSSA Trials School rank~ 250 Subject|Rank|Trial Mark Advanced English | 4/30 | 72% (theres like less than a mark between me and 3rd, and we have one more assessment task left...

    CSSA Biology Paper

Try this, it's a list of everything in the exam :) Hope this helps https://educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/wcm/connect/eeb79a96-85bd-45d7-99d5-9c26bce461b4/biology-st6-syl+Biology.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CVID= Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    3u cssa 2018?

Yeah for sure, I ran out of time on Q14. Got the projectile out but ran out on the sum question and think I probably wouldve lost a couple of marks for rushing through Q13 I think. With another 15 minutes I think I wouldve been very confident Haha Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    3u cssa 2018?

Honestly, not really. Most of it was really quite standard to be honest. From what I've seen of CSSA it was probably on par or a little harder than average? There was nothing really overwhelmingly difficult, just 1 or 2 things I hadn't done enough of. Surprisingly the Projectile question was...

    3u cssa 2018?

How'd everyone go? Thoughts on the exam? Personally thought the exam was fair, pretty much what I expected from CSSA really. Multiple choice was fairly standard, 11 and 12 were also fairly easy. Q13 was decent. Q14 was also decent, although I'm fairly sure I cooked the sum of series question...

    CSSA Biology Paper

Apparently our kids all said it was super short... the teacher took the parts of the option they hadn't done out, and apparently also another 6 marker. Their paper was only 81 marks... Most people finished with like an hour to go apparently Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

School said they're giving me 0 if a miss a trials exams

If your psychiatrist will back you up, and you can get a doctor's certificate, I would reccomend ringing NESA about it to see what they think. If you're backed by NESA, there is nothing your school can really do besides give you an estimate. For what it's worth, we haven't had anyone miss...

    CSSA Physics 2018

Yeah good work everyone, we got through it aha! I'm annoyed I screwed up that accel question, so same deal I guess [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    CSSA Physics 2018

Yeah, I sort of realised after that the first flash would be at t=0, so the time would be 6/16 I think anyway, I hope I was right haha Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    CSSA Physics 2018

I chose the answer with all 3 under the temp of the liquid. My theory was that the bottom must be in a super conducting state so that the meissner effect occurs. Thinking back though it may only be with Type 1 superconductors, so could potentially just be the two pure metals. I just meant...

    CSSA Physics 2018

Also what did everyone get for the gravitational acceleration question? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    CSSA Physics 2018

Can't say I'll be that high up, but hoping for around 85+ Geophysics was also pretty easy. Anyone have any ideas on a rough B6 cutoff? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    CSSA Physics 2018

How did everyone go? Honestly it was a lot better than I expected personally, couple of interesting question, but nothing too hard I don't think. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    CSSA Chemistry :'(

Interested to see how it was, our school bought both independent and cssa papers but we sat independent. Interested to see how the cssa paper was. I'm keen to try it after the release period is up. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Thoughts on CSSA Mathematics Extension 2 2018 paper?

Yeah I found it quite difficult too. We haven't covered harder 3U yet, so we had a multiple choice and 2 other questions removed (I believe a circle geo and Q16 or something) and replaced with some Independent questions. Felt fairly prepared going in honestly but was pretty shocked for the...

    CSSA Paper 1 Thoughts??

Honestly was pretty happy with Mod A and B (doing 1984 and metropolis as well as Yeats poetry) but the Mod C question kinda got me. It just seemed extremely vague to me and I'm not sure I completely understood what it was asking haha Oh well, hopefully it's alright Sent from my SM-G935F using...

Should I stop studying for my worst subject if I do 12 units

Then I think yes, it makes sense to focus in your other subjects. Make sure you understand concepts to a decent enough level still however, as some of it will help with other subjects (ie if you do 2U, the applications of calculus topic helps with physics, etc.) Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Should I stop studying for my worst subject if I do 12 units

If, by far it is your worst, it would make sense to focus on other subjects. Despite this, if it's your worst but not by much, and your other subjects are lower scaling, it could be beneficial to put time into maths as it will scale well. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
