Dumb question...but where do we have to log in to get our ATARs (ie what part of the UAC website)?

My school dropped 150 ranks from last year, ever since I started checking school ranks back in 2009, it has never had such a drop.

Naah all the ATAR calculators have crashed...can't even access them now. Only managed to get onto some really laggy ones that jump from one estimate to another.

I feel ya :( All I wanted was to get above 90...not gonna happen now. I've sacrificed having a part-time job for this...now it looks like flipping burgers at maccas for minimum wage would have been more worth my time than the afternoons I spent studying. Yes a recheck is definitely worth it...

Exactly how I feel. Music was my best subject nek minnit...80. In the same position as you, I will most likely get into my course (I hope) but its so disheartening and depressing after all the effort.

Scaling is done by UAC. I got an ATAR estimate and its was decent but that's because originally I thought scaling has already been done with the marks we got today...then I realized it is yet to be done and I've completely lost hope :( :( My marks are alright but they are not 'intense' subjects...

Just wondering...is an aggregate of 433 enough for a 90 ATAR?

Ok, let's say a person got 100 and topped the state. The second person in their school, got 85 for their externals. Will they be taken up? I know this is a very unlikely scenario but just wondering.

I know they count them...but I thought they just take up the bottom 20-30% and hence if you get at ATAR of 50, you are in the top 50% of a cohort that already includes those that dropped out at the end of year 10. Admittedly, I haven't looked into it all that much but that was my understanding.

That was more of a rhetorical question XD but my ultimate point is that why would you do a Uni course for which you have not been prepared in ANY way by your previous education? Also, I am sure it is much easier to make a living as a good dancer than as a bad engineer.
