How to write an inner journey analysis but not a summary?

Right now, your writing is basically following the plot rather than analysing a particular inner journey - lyrebirds dared to make their own class instead of mimicking - that entire section does not have much relevance to inner journey, as opposed to the poet going back in time. When writing...

    Need help with chemistry question

B - Cu(II)Z NH4 is ammonium ion, which has a charge of +1. Since the original formula was (NH4)2Z, we now know that Z has a charge of -2. Now just check the options to see which ones correspond to -2 A - Na is +1 B - correct C - Mg is +2, however, there is Z2, so it does not balance out...

    advice on subjects

No reason why you can't reach your goal if you work hard. Although nothing this year will count towards your HSC year, it is still a good time to get into good study habits in preparation for when it all counts. For a really detailed, thorough and useful guide, check out...

    What should I drop?

Well, dropping physics seems to let you come late/leave early most days...unless they feel mean and only your middle periods are free :D I don't really see much of a problem with dropping physics, especially since the rest of your subjects seem to be ok, and that you probably won't need it in...

    What should I drop?

Well, if you're really looking forward to your exchange at the end of the year, then definitely keep Spanish. How do you feel about SDD or Engineering Studies? If you find that you don't really need physics for the future, and that you're still not going too well, then that would probably be...

    Ranking??

My school gives rankings for every subject. Except I think they're changing the report structure so there won't be rankings, but instead a box and whisker plot to show where you are. You'll probably need to ask your teachers for your rank, or at least where your marks lie within the class.

    basic algebra and arithmetic "marathon".

    hmm, not too sure about my setting out but: x^2 + xy + y^2 = x^2 + 2xy + y^2 - xy = (x+y)^2 - xy since (x+y)^2 > xy x^2 + xy + y^2 > 0 my question: Find the values of k for which the quadratic equation x^2 - (k+3)x + (k+6) = 0 has real roots

Which career path would you like to pursue in the future?

Medicine. As in I actually want to do it and it sounds interesting to me. Joining Doctors without Borders sounds pretty cool, although a bit dangerous :D GP sounds good, maybe a sports physician. After that, I've been thinking dietitian, because nutrition interests me a lot as well, but so do...

    stress relievers?

If it's something I'm doing that's stressing me, I close it/get away from it and try to do something completely unrelated....like maths hw --> internet :D If's it's some event, like exams, I sit back and try to take reaaallly deep breaths and close my eyes, or read or something else relaxing. I...

    A Board of Studies rule?

I'm pretty sure the Geography class for my year was about 2 people or so, just under the minimum for a class...so instead they have a composite class with year 12 Geography. Except drama had more than enough for a class, yet they still didn't get a class this year.

    classical

I don't listen to only classical, but some of my favourites are Beethoven Symphony no.7 (1st and 4th movement, 2nd is quite nice as well), Mozart's Symphony no. 25 Allegro and Sonata in D for two pianos (=O the mozart effect! but it's still nice anyway) though most baroque/classical/romantic...

    What are you currently Reading?

Short stories (for eng ext). Road Dahl is amazing. I love all the twists in his story. And a few others, like Gift of the Magi and The Necklace and something by Chekhov. I had to read Kew Gardens as well, though that was a bit longwinded, although it had really nice description. Shadow of a...

What is your all time favourite book?

I don't really have a definite favourite, but standouts for me include: Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb (or pretty much any of her trilogies, especially the Liveship Trilogy) The Old Kingdom Trilogy by Garth Nix Five Greatest Warriors by Matthew Reilly - so epic :D though once again, some of...

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

I'd like to ask about textbooks/resources for Japanese Continuers. My school gives me the Wakatta! textbook and we buy the workbook, but I'd just like to you if anyone knows of any good supplementary textbooks that I could use, for either Prelim or HSC course. Thanks in advance :spin:
