Sounds quite nice overall. I love solos, be they cadenzas (are there any for the piano in this concerto? I forget. Unrelated: I love the Rach 3 cadenza) or whatever. Ah that makes sense, otherwise if the concert hall was only half full then it'd probably insult the pianist and friends

I really don't know at this stage. I seem to enjoy maths mostly and are able to do pretty most of what's required, but I always run out of time during exams (I even finished my english half yearly)

I know that MX1 is harder than 2U, and also that there is a bigger workload. However, how much of a step up exactly is MX1 from 2U? Is it a LOT harder? Is the workload e.g. more than twice as much/about 20% more than 2U? How much time needs to be devoted to it? I got around 74% for my half...

the general course is quite different to the adv/X1/X2 set of courses. It's essentially on its own so no matter how easy it is, you're gunna have to relearn everything.

With special glasses, just look at the sun and you should be able to see it. Don't look at the sun directly though

5/150 and you want to do general?? That's wasted potential right there. See how 2U goes (a not-insignificant portion just builds off year 10 work) and then decide whether you want to do MX1
