    CSSA Economics

Ahaha this thread though I think that 1800 - 2000 words is overkill but 800 is going to be a bit short for 20/20 in the HSC. I generally do around 1300-1500 and it gets me full marks. Shivers if you could do 800 words high quality and get 20/20 you could finish the exam 40 minutes early and...

Can't see the image But real GDP is nominal GDP when you take into account inflation (pretty sure the formula is real = nominal x (base year / CPI))

BoP Table Question - No Correct Answer?

Hey guys, With the below question, the answer is B. But that makes no sense, I kept doing the calculations and got 48.3bn not 48.2bn. Please have a go at the question and let me know what you get, I'm curious as to whether I stuffed something up or the markers did... Cheers...

    Piecing together monetary policy

Cheers man. Two quick things 1) where does the exchange settlement accounts fit in 2) by buying second hand government securities doesn't that increases the demand, not supply, and shouldn't this decrease the liquidty on the market cause they are buying not selling?

List of economics graphs you need to know for HSC

Thought about the business cycle, that would be a wavy line though and I thought it is advised not to do those and just do stuff with rulers (e.g. How we don't draw the AS and AD model or Phillips curve in a non-linear way) PPF definitely a good idea, even for topic 1
