Most annoying book of all time

I'm a HUGE fan of John Green. However, just recently I picked up 'The Abundance of Katherines' and it wasn't my cup of tea. Too many equations and annoying footnotes on every page! So disapointing! I like Shakespeare and the concept. However, language is too dense and hard to understand.

Is it better to top Standard than to be doing averagely in Advanced?

I heard that standard aligns terribly. But do the course you're capable of. It's no use staying in advanced if you're struggling or too stressed. I was contemplating dropping because my marks weren't too great. But this year I've started to work harder and gain help/advice off teacher and I...

How do I stay competitive throughout my HSC year

I have a friend like that too - she crammed at the last minute and got higher than me, even though I prepared early in advance. I found competing was stressful and disappointing when I didn't beat her. However, I felt great when I beat her. I now focus on doing my personal best and that's all...

How do you like your Weet-Bix?

    Need some advice..

Firstly, what are your subjects? What do you struggle with? It sounds a bit excessive with the amount you are spending on tutoring. Maybe try these alternatives instead: - is there anyone at your work who've completed their hsc and maybe able to give you advice on subjects? - is there anyone you...

    10 units vs 12 units.

I do 12 units just in case. Business is my "relaxing" subject, but counts 100% exam for ATAR, on the other hand Italian has so many different sections and a speaking exam which I am so nervous about (enjoyable subject none the less) and biology is somewhat challenging. I just want a safety net...
