I actually wanted to go to UNSW at first, but the ATAR cut-offs for particular courses that I wanted to do there were pretty high compared to USYD and UTS, and it seems impossible for me to have a really high ATAR xD

I agree with oblivious ninja. The wording makes the question seem too general. Maybe you can ask your teacher on what he/she thinks. But the answer sheet could be wrong too so I don't know at this point.
