    Fairfield RTA P's Test

I got an instructor for my red P's test, passed from the first go. I did like 4 hours with him, cost me $100 and he showed me all 4 routes, it is 4 routes, the officer chooses randomly. I got my green P's not long ago as well :) So EZ!

Help with Year 11 Subject Choices - Chemistry or Biology?!

Well, I've never done any humanities except for biology so I might not be completely correct...

Help with Year 11 Subject Choices - Chemistry or Biology?!

WTF? first off all, you do a combined degree, physics/med, physics/engineering, etc... secondly you do postgraduate studies to specialise. Physics gives you so many skills essential to life, way more important than the BULLSHIT you learn in Legal Studies, Economics, Biology and all these stupid...

Help with Year 11 Subject Choices - Chemistry or Biology?!

There is absolutely nothing to relate between biology and chemistry. Are you kidding? Chemistry and Physics relate so much in the HSC, nuclear chemistry and Q2Q, equilibrium and lenz's law, etc..., in biology you don't even use chemical equations, biology is pure rote learning, i.e., memorising...

Help with Year 11 Subject Choices - Chemistry or Biology?!

I hate biology, don't do it, biology is purely rote learning, and HSC biology is boring as hell, you do genetics! Do adv. english, MX2, Chem and Phys = 10 units, get about 90 in all of them, and you are on your way to a 99.95 !!!

From standard to advanced (english) ??

ESL isn't the lowest BTW, applied is the lowest. Only people who have been here for less than 4 years are illegible to do ESL, otherwise, if you were born here and do ESL you will have a huge and unfair advantage over these people, also, you can apply for EAS if you do ESL which is even bigger...

    How should i be studying?

If you study 7 hours per day efficiently and consistently you can get ATAR above 90, but most people don't study efficiently. Off course you have to completely understand the concepts before going into past papers.

    Looking for solutions

Has anyone done question 7, part a) part ii) ??? How do we find the distance at which the particle falls ?!?!? Part i) is too marks, it is just sin/cos, they ask that questions in almost all conical pendulum questions, easy 2 marks.

    How should i be studying?

if quantity > 0, then quality + quantity > quality ... But, how can you prove that a fat person > skinny person, what if the skinny person is stronger stronger, taller, smarter etc... so inequalities don't always apply to the real world because nothing is absolute, everything is relative, etc...

    How should i be studying?

    quality + quantity > quality !

    Looking for solutions

:( I hate english. I still do well at it in assessments but yeah, I will try and study more, worst subject ever, full of bullshit! It is less rote earning than biology though, you need some degree of understanding in English. For biology I literally study the day before the test by reading the...

    Looking for solutions

Then I'll try do 1 paper per subject, that is, 1 MX2 paper, 1 Chemistry paper and 1 Physics paper per day, all I have to do for English is memorise my essays like a week before the trials...

    How should i be studying?

Understand the concept from teacher/textbook/tutor the apply it through doing past paper, heaps of them, like 3 past papers per day! Study minimum of 10 hours per day.
  16. T

How do you study for physics?

Physics is like chemistry, you just get a textbook and memorise everything, then do past papers. I hate how science in the HSC are structures, pure rote learning, I guess that's how they should be studied XD

    BOS turns 10!

    Bored of Studies!

    Looking for solutions

Past papers are so good, I'm doing the 2010 paper now :) Hopefully I can get 3 papers done each day, I need like 30 papers done before the trials, that's 10 hours per day of MX2 over 10 days, I have about 4 weeks from now till the trials (trials in week 3), so I have time for other subjects...
