Well i did ACCG100, ACST101, STAT170, BBA102, ECO111, MKTG101, ACCG101 and ISYS100 (planet unit) in my first year. I did stat170 as an elective as it wasnt required (cause everyone else was doing it i thought why not) So all those units are required for Prof Accg too so yeah you get credit for...

u could do B of BA for one year then transfer to BBA/Applied Finance if you want to do finance too. I did B Comm too majoring in accounting and its pretty pointless, its very basic and didnt even fulfil the CPA/CA (career) requirements for me so i transferred into Professional Accg/ App FInance...

i do prof accounting/app fin and app finance is defintely a lot more difficult however it is more interesting than accounting too. Finance ofcourse involves more math whilst accounting is more theoretical, some finance units such as acst201 is purely math. hope that helps

One of the hardest semesters at Mac Uni out of the way thank god. BUSL301 - 66 AFIN352 - 62 FOBE320 - 71 ECON334 - 79 So happy i passed afin, one of the hardest units in the degree no doubt and congrats to all for such good results

ive done accg200, it carries onto 301, 224 is related to 308. Accg200 is very maths based. theres a lot of formulaes to remember but theyre easy to remember (basically adding or subracting). Its a pretty easy unit, much easier than accg224/308

Definitely travel. Id rather go 40 mins to UTS instead of 90 mins to Macquarie especially if theyre similar levels of prestige which doesnt really matter for a business related degree anyway
