When are merit lists released?

For the essays, will there be options scaling? I heard a rumour, but I don't think there will be since all the essays were generally quite standard

Sorry if I came off like I was attacking you, but I'm only going off what I've heard. My teachers are HSC markers too and they said that they marked at a HSC level or maybe a bit above. For my trials I received 41/45 + 56/60 and cleared the pack by 10 marks in total. Just to be clear though...

Most confident person I've seen lol 95/105 in trials could mean that your teachers just mark easy Don't get too far ahead of yourself

1st in your school for standard. Not sure about how well your other subjects

State ranking would be 100+ / 105 wouldn't it?

I asked the head of english at my school and she said for trials that they marked to HSC standards or maybe a little bit harder to differentiate the cohort. Not sure though. Hopeful for B6!

Is that similar to your trial marks?

Module A: Did 4.5 pages for it in the last half an hour... Still answered it alright I guess. Module B: 5.5 pages for it. Probably my strongest essay. I did it first. Module C: 6 pages. Quite strong also. Probably got Mod A: 17 Mod B: 19 Mod C: 18 Not sure how different the HSC...

I do standard, but I consider myself to write okay on the spot 97/105 for trials - might've been marked easy, who knows...

Depends on what you mean by memorising.. Do you mean the whole essay? Or just the general ideas (ie. techniques, quotes)? All I did for trials was memorise techniques, quotes and general ideas which I was going to write about. It worked for me.
