er yes :D i agree, but hey we learn it once they suffer eternally for having to teach that crap over and over and over and over again. (the only texts i've liked so far are bladerunner/frankenstein!)

haha i feel your pain! essay's are so hard to start, but once you do it all just flows out. perhaps if you dont feel very motivated at home you could go to a library afterschool? some people find that handwriting their essay (or just getting all their thoughts down on paper) really helps...

i dont think there is a "set" amount of past papers one should do for the HSC. obviously doing the more will get you better acquainted - and for those kind of essay-ey subjects like legal studies you really can't do much except prepare generics.
