How could you find passion in your subjects if you don't actually have any passion for it at all and were forced into them? I know that for me, I slacked off because I had no interest in the subjects that I was doing but its too late to change now.

I heard some people who failed year 11 but topped year 12 and some who went the other way. For Maths, there was a guy who failed prelims but got state ranking for HSC though. Altogether, HSC is definitely about effort.

I'm currently in year 11 and doing horribly to the point where I am considering repeating. I failed my Maths extension 1 exam and only got 50% in English Advanced and ranked near last for EE1. The thing is, I had health issues this year and missed out on so much school but back in years 7-10...

Its been a while since the last post on this forum but- congrats anyways. I was just wondering, I am stuck in a similar situation here- failing year 11 in every single way possible. Are there any tips on how you studied/what you did? Also, did you do tutoring or did you learn it yourself?
