Trust me, rankings from Year 9/10 will change quite drastically. Wait till you are in Year 11 and done your yearlies if you want a more accurate estimate. Even Year 11 is not that accurate - nor Year 12... However it is better.

Haha, how many units did you do during prelim, and how many are you planning to do for Year 12? I love free periods.. Don't seem to have many although I do 12 units. Haha that 30 minute munch, you're doing alright. In year 11 I had to rest like for an hour to even begin to get into a workable...

Well if you want to raise your projected atar, you would have to improve on your standard english. Achieve band 5s or 80s in your subjects to get 70+.

What are your ranks at the moment?

Thankyou guys :) This was very helpful. Really didn't know that 2U could could influence such a change in atar if a band 6 was achieved. Same with the shocking statistics of Advanced English band 6 leniency.

Hi everyone, I'm doing 2U Maths and Advanced English at the moment and have no intention changing however: What's the difference in doing Standard and Advanced English? And what's the difference between doing 2U and General Maths? It's obviously easier/harder vice verse accordingly...

Re: Can they force you to write about more than one related text for Standard English If you prepare three related texts, I'm sure you will be 100% fine for the essay. There's no saying whether they will or not... But usually they won't.
