Which engineering degree should I choose?

Reading the Overview in the Handbook tab (in the link you provided) doesn't sound like it's "proper experience". However, it does sound like by the end of the subject, you will know what you want to be studying. I think you would also be leaning towards civil engineering by the end of the...

Which engineering degree should I choose?

That is correct. If you click on the "Handbook tab", it says So yes, each 4 weeks you would learn about a different discipline of engineering - 1. Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering 2. Civil Engineering 3. Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

According to http://www.transportnsw.info/ , that should be it.

What is difficult in Preliminary Chemistry?

I don't think it's part of the syllabus (I could be wrong). However all teachers seem to go through it as it explains what a mole is. Some teachers can't explain it properly, leaving everyone even more confused. :(

What is difficult in Preliminary Chemistry?

It's been a while, I don't remember much. However, I do remember that the jump from junior science to preliminary chemistry was huge. My groundings from junior science was so weak that I had trouble understanding: how to write balanced equations and formulas Sorry, that's all I remember as...

    Late round offer?

Forgot to mention that step 1 must be done by this week (not too sure on it though..). Just do it ASAP.

alternative paths to physiotherapy non secondary school leaver

Haha at ^. I believe we all say that. Usually a HSC school leaver would choose to study b health science and then go on with this http://sydney.edu.au/health-sciences/future-students/courses/career-change.shtml . You already completed 1 year already so I don't really know. I don't really know...

    Choosing a engineering major

Engineering is very similar in the first year. Everyone pretty much do the same subjects more or less. I believe that for UNSW, majors are due at the end of first year. Hence it's okay for you atm. With that being said, if someone chose Civil now, they could easily change to Mechanical or...

    Late round offer?

According to http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2014-main-cutoffs.pdf The cutoff for this year is 98.00 and there are vacancies at the moment (indicated by the (V)). That means you didn't make the cutoff. Last year's main round: http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2013-main-cutoffs.pdf Last...

    Maths1141 vs maths1131

    1. Scaling exists. 2. People said there's not much different in learning content. However, there's extra questions in the final test that is a lot harder. Don't quote me on <<. 3. UNSW recommends this on MATH1141 page:

    ENGG1000 clash

Yeah, I was going to as well. Guess we don't need to anymore as Parvee said it's okay. Thanks Parvee. Repped and liked.

    ENGG1000 clash

I selected Lecture A for ENG1000. It seems to be clashing with itself. I have attached a picture. The two mondays on week 12 clash with each other. It appears 'red' on my timetable. Is it a typo (should one of the '12' be '13')? Or is it okay to have this clash (even though it's 'red')?

    Changing minds

I edited my post. I think some courses may have their cutoff lowered in the late round. However, if it is a popular course the ATAR cutoff would increase. Use these as guides: 2013 Main round: http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2013-main-cutoffs.pdf 2013 Late round...

    Changing minds

You don't need to decline it. In fact, you haven't even accepted it yet. It is recommended that you accept your offer of B.X on the 16th (this ensure you would still have a place at university if you don't get B.Y later). After you accepted your offer, change you preference (on UAC) so that B.Y...

    ATAR Estimation

I think it should be the deputy principal. Either way, just ask a someone that knows what he/she is talking about and he/she would refer you to another teacher/deputy if they don't know. Nice. These inspiration stories lately are really great.

The Cyclohexene + Bromine Water Prac?

This question gets ask every year. :D Maybe Someth1ng should make a detailed thread about the bromine water practical and sticky it. Cyclohexene: C6H10 (l) + Br2 (aq) -> C6H10Br2 (aq) Cyclohexane: C6H12 (l) + Br2 (aq) -> N.R (No reaction) [obviously different when under sunlight] 1...
