    how productive were the holidays

My holidays weren't as productive as I would've liked. I had a rest over the first week and knuckled down in the second week, I went through my notes and did past papers, ect.

    HSC course reviews

Advanced English: I've found always found English enjoyable, and I've really liked the texts we've studied this year. Mathematics General 2: Honestly, this is my biggest subject regret. I should've done Mathematics, the fact I'm only doing General is really biting me in the butt now. It was...

What car do you drive? (the new one)

I know, it's an automatic as well. It's in immaculate condition and it's so fun to drive. Definitely a good buy.

What car do you drive? (the new one)

I drive a 1987 Toyota Corolla :haha: Cost $1500, bought it from a little old lady and it only had 60,000 km on the clock. I love it, even if I have by far the oldest car out of my friends :haha:

Do you study on the weekends?

I study more on weekends. It seems to be better for me since I prefer to be able to sit for plenty of time and get completely absorbed in the work.

    Your subject regrets

Absolutely regretted Earth & Enviro... It was so boring, I had no interest in it but I hated all subjects offered on that line. I would've loved to have done Chemistry.

How was your first day at school?

Alright, my timetable was once again stuffed up (happens to me every year...) but I got some good results back from assessments and it was nice to see everyone again.

    Studies Periods!

It depends on what subjects you're doing and how your school organises timetables. I only had 2 in Year 11, while some people had none and others had like 6.

    Senior School gear

snowflakeptical and WrittenLoveLetters gave you fairly comprehensive lists, but I will just add you will need plenty of pens. I don't know about others, but I went through way more pens in Year 11 than I expected so definitely make sure you buy a few. Have fun shopping :)

    Textbooks for HSC Ancient History

So is mine, we got really lucky last year when the HSIE department decided to buy us the latest editions. I'm hoping they've got us the HSC ones next term *fingers crossed*

So did I, I loved it as well :)

    Textbooks for HSC Ancient History

Personally I don't really like the excel books for Ancient History. That said, you still might get more out of them then I did. If you can get your hands on one at a library or something, have a look through them and then decide whether you want to pay for your own. Antiquity 2 is a good...

A lot of work. I completed my IRP for CAFS this term, I'm proud of it but glad it's out of the way.

    To Past Year 11s !

Have a read of some syllabuses and textbooks, and if you know your texts for English try to get ahead and read them over the holidays. Make sure you spend plenty of time just having fun and relaxing though, these holidays will be your last proper break for a while so enjoy them.

How to best make use of Holidays before year 11?

Just relax and enjoy yourself. You could flip through some textbooks maybe if you were really keen, but use the holidays to have fun and be totally stress free.
