Extension 2 maths for sure. Averaging 70s is good! If that's your raw mark, then you'll get band 6 for sure, once its scaled. And remember Extension 2 scales like crazy.

Teachers are obvisouly not going to count every single word. Usually, you can go 10% under/over. You'll probs get penalised 10% of total score?

All I can say: get a private tutor. and spend a lot of time on it, remember it's worth 2 units since you're not doing the 2u paper. but don't neglect other subjects.

Because it's a constant, and whenever you differntiate a constant it equals zero. e.g. differntiate 5 and you get zero.

Definitely pick up 4u maths. The scaling is worth it. Remember, you only need to get a raw mark of 60, 70+ to get the top band.

Private schools generally get more holidays- they usually start the school year around the same time, one day later i think (we usually start tuesday, public starts monday). Most private schools will finish this week!
