It's most probably exam nerves compromising your marks. You can study as much content as you want for 2u, but at the end of the day it all goes towards prepping you for doing well in exams. Since you still have time until year 12 begins, it might work for you if you make a habit of timing...

With that school rank, OP may potentially get 90+ provided those are the same ranks when they finish year 12, but atm it's hovering more 82-87 range. Hypothetically, if the maths rank was around the same level as the others, that might be raised to 86-92...but of course, since it is only year...

Just wondering, I've done work experience at Westmead Hospital for about a week in cardiology, and before that I've shadowed my parents in their hospital workplaces many times (30+). Is this a sufficient amount of 'experience' or are they looking for volunteering in nursing homes and the like?

It's not 'bad', just that often people are unaware of the best value for money packages that are available, end up spending too much money on tutoring, and then complain about it.
