    PDH vs Biology vs Chemistry

Bio is not hard but rather has a lot of content so keep that in mind, Pe is pretty easy, mostly just common sense and memorizing syllabus headings. Personally i found Chem to not be too tricky but that might just be me. I do all three, there is very little cross over between PE and Bio,

How do you spend the last summer holiday before the HSC?

Yeah so all of the above are great suggestions, however they should be complemented with some break time, you want to have a rest so you don't burn out, yr 12 is a long year

    How to memorise essays effectively?

For me, breaking down paragraphs into sentences and writing them out whilst saying it 4-5 times usually does it for me, at the end of every few sentences i go through all of them again to make sure i remember it. This does take a while but it really helps me remember it.

Am I Kidding Myself By Doing These Subjects?

yeah so 14 units in year 11 honestly won't be too bad, although in year 12 you'll probably end up dropping a subject

    Writing vs Typing notes

Yeah i think it's based solely of the individual, there are pros and cons for both, however personally i prefer writing as i can draw diagrams, it helps me increase my writing speed and also helps me remember it

Am I going to fail year 12?

Yeah like dude tbh, you don't burn out in yr 11, as people have said before, year 11, objectively counts for nothing, that being said, it is important to establish foundations and study habits. But yeah don't burn out dude like you've got a long way to go. As for motivation, see if you can...

    Drop VA or Japanese continuers

I agree with Frost guard, i have a few friends who do VA and they spend all their time doing their major project (every lunch time for 2 terms) , if you're already demotivated i think the major work will more trouble than it already seems to be

    Hellppp

    Yeah or an easier way is 10^-9 = [hydronium concentration] 1 x 10^-14 = [h3O+] x [OH-] 1 x 10^-14 / 10^-9 Thus 0.00001M = OH-

    significance of prelim chem???

Yeah like some of yr 11 chemistry is rubbish and you will never use ( like iron age ? ) but balancing equations, moles, inter/ intra molecular forces are very important in understanding large portions of yr 12.

    Will scaling screw me up?

I agree, any combination of subjects will be able to get any atar, if you are interested in these subjects and are good at them you should choose them
