Yes but the amount it moves gets progressively smaller as you go higher up with marks. So for the 97+ HSC marks you almost need those actual raw marks. These were the marks from last year. 93 (raw) --> 96 (aligned) 88 (raw) --> 93 (aligned) 84 (raw) --> 91 (aligned) 75 (raw) --> 85 (aligned)

Hoping and fingers crossed but really no way of knowing as just a mark here or there or a couple dodgy MC could mean you miss out. Managed to get 97 raw in trials so hoping i can pull another really high mark but i guess we will see.

Hopefully that works in our favour with better aligning of raw marks-->HSC marks but i agree the raw marks may possibly be lower this year as people may have misinterpreted the core 2 8 marker or struggled with the improving performance questions.

Haha thanks man. Tbh the half yearly was easier than HSC standard as the calculation questions were mostly straight forward but otherwise i feel like the response questions were fairly marked
