Am i not understanding something or what?... Whether you want to get an atar or not, is entirely up to you if thats what you are asking. You can still do the HSC and not get an atar if you have other pathways in mind.

I think Cambridge is the best...just get that and keep doing past paper questions all year long from all schools+hsc and you should be fine.

Physics or Chemistry, I don't mind either of them, but i wish i would have done IPT instead one subject or the other. I feel I would have better been able to handle the workload and be more succesful in my other subjects because physics and chem take sooooooooooo much of my time. :(

Dont think there will be a HSC in 10-15 years time... I think they will develop a brand new system, in which many of the subject testing will be through technology off course.

it is not compulsory to pay for things such as school maintenance at a government school ^and also its not frowned upon if you dont.

it will really depend on how much your ranking changes. But remember 50% of your subjects comes from the external exam in October, so even if you drop ranks in this one, you can follow it up by a good performance in the hsc exam as that external mark will be yours to keep.
