    ECON1203 Lectures

Would anyone happen to know if you absolutely have to attend econ1203 lectures in person? Like do they do any quizzes or mark attendance in lectures? If I were to take it this semester I wouldn't be able to make it to the physical lectures because of work but will definitely watch them...

Does WAM/uni results actually matter in employment?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you don't need to do general education subjects (stuff outside of your faculty) if you're in a combined degree, so don't bother imo. In my case if it gets approved, I get to do one less subject Ooh are you a first year too? Sent from my...

Does WAM/uni results actually matter in employment?

Thanks for all the replies :spin: I guess I'm just worried because 1). I still have a bit of the "marks are so important" mindset from hsc, and I know back when I did the course, I did not take it seriously hence looking back I'm thinking I could have done better 2). I don't have my life...

Does WAM/uni results actually matter in employment?

I was wondering if employers place a huge emphasis on university grades when recruiting, like what should one aim for throughout studies? (e.g. low credits, high credits, distinction average, HD?) Would it be different if one had previous work experience? What about in these areas in particular...

    Cadetship 2015

Thanks for your reply! Lol I forget that I even have my signature sometimes, it's really outdated (back when I thought 95+ wasn't realistic) and while my dream was usyd initially I'm kind of like meh now. Was just trying to confirm whether all those usyd rumours were true, like apparently...

    Cadetship 2015

This thread looks dead af but I need to ask anyway. Are there any current cadets who go to usyd? Is it really inconvenient/has no evening classes? Please share your experiences and enlighten me [emoji4]

What to do for listening task?

Not sure if it's on discovery, but mine was. It was an unseen (no prescribed text) so essentially everyone thought you couldn't study for it. What I personally did was memorise the rubric and formulate my own generic theses on discovery (some based on the rubric). I then researched speech...
