Yeah but from what I've seen in their tests in thsc, they've already done functions, for example, which is one of the final year 10 topics in most schools. So if I had to go through the entire year without knowing it, then I wouldnt be able to choose maths ex1 for year 11

I picked Girraween because it's less than 5km away while Penrith is 30 km away. But Penrith has better stage 5 electives so I kinda feel disheartened 😂

Yeah true Girraween gets a lot more applications. But I might not go to baulko even if I made it, because they are quite ahead on maths topics, and other topics in general

Schools do notify people who didn't get an offer. It would be unfair to not notify them. But many schools didn't release the outcomes yet because they have more applications, or they're taking a different process I guess. Baulkham Hills didn't release its results. I'm kinda scared. Do you think...

lol you're all starting early. I used to start like a month before, and then spend hours studying.

There are no curriculum based questions in the test. You can think of it as an iq test. The questions will test your thinking skills, so if there is no year 9 content in the test, I'm pretty sure there won't be year 11 extension 1 content.

Yeah I feel like only James Ruse and baulko (mainly jhras) offer olympiad participation. Other top tier schools like girraween and even higher like nsb don't participate. Am I right?

Yeah I use ICE-EM. I think its good (and the challenge exercise at the end of the topic is quite hard).

So are you in year 10 now? Btw are you in an accelerated class there or in the normal classes
