That sort of sucks. I think that uni might be a good place to make like-minded friends who want to do/be similar things. At school (especially if you come from a small one) the people aren't necessarily the most diverse. Besides, there's nothing wrong with MORE friends :D

What I know- Newsreaders get paid more than print. Journalism has a VERY LOW average pay. The glossies depends on the position. But as a general rule, the higher circulating magazines (and the top in their genre) are those with better pay.

My sister dropped hers down the toilet -.- LOL. And they won't even touch it, even if you want a new one through insurance etc, they send a replacement and won't even try touching it. You could just make sure it's all dry, and say that it "just stopped working" and if they start going on...

I loved drama, but thats me. Choose the one that you will bother to work hard in. Business Studies scales well, but if you "can't handle" it, then drop it. Your major is important. Are you willing to put in all that effort?

Whilst I do agree that you don't need to be a "heavy science scoring geek to be a journalist" I disagree that the UAI is too high. Journalism is a competitive industry, and I think that getting a high UAI shows the lengths to which you will go to be accepted. CSU does have a better reputation...

Not really. That was my own opinion. Some people are perfectly happy to go to Bathurst to study. I can't afford to not live at home. And it would be difficult to get another job etc It's a 3 hour journey for me. I also think that it's about what sort of course suits you. The UTS open...

Maybe you're doing it wrong. Tell us roughly what you are typing in, just to make sure you're putting in the right thing. Student ID number and the correct password. What does it say? That your password is wrong? Try using your three questions? xxx

That's true, but going to Bathurst isn't exactly a dream. It is one of the highest rated though. UTS is rated higher than USYD, but below CSU. I'm going to UTS because I don't want to live out there! And I heard that the uni was awesome :).
