    Life is just not good...

I just got mine back too. I learnt that the expectations and standards set out by the marking criteria of the HSC is much more strict. I lost marks which were in fact correct but it did not fulfil the criteria. It was soo frustrating !! In the end I learnt to accept it and improve on my answers...

    Graphing absolute values

Another method, which i prefer, is rearrange the equation to: |2x+2|= 5-|3x-6| then graph y=|2x+2| and y= 5-|3x-6| which yields you: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%7C2x%2B2%7C%3D5-%7C3x-6%7C and you can clearly see from the graph there are no solutions. Else, if the graphs were to...

    Notes

How to get a 99.95 + State Rankings

You're on the right track! Definitely going to achieve an outstanding ATAR if you keep this mindset. What I believe is that you should set short term goals instead of looking in the long run. What do you hope to achieve in a week? You can adjust your study plan more easily than just setting an...

    Preliminary 2004 CSSA Physics

So what's the answer? On closer inspection, I actually believe its D. Because initially, I thought the total current was the same in both circuits but then I realised that the current is not the same because the resistance is varied as archer proposed and working it out, the answer was D. (The...

    Preliminary 2004 CSSA Physics

Could somebody please check the answer of 2 and 5? I've been getting quite a lot wrong in this exam. Not sure if I'm the one making mistakes or the answers are wrong.
