    Double degrees

Someone at uni for 3 years vs someone at uni for 5 ... I mean you're still looking at an inexperienced undergrad. maybe it helps but I cannot see anyone going weak at the knees over someone for that reason alone. Life experience is more often gained outside uni. It's only such an issue for...

    UNSW vs USYD (campus)

I dunno about that. I like being on campus and I've had quite a lot to do with them. Postgrad now. Usyd's campus is pretty. Sandstone is sandstone. Looks like Hogwarts or something. It's also closer to the city and generally just a better location. UNSW is ugly and soulless.

Last years scores need to transfer into law at Monash and Deakin?

If all else fails just do a JD or postgrad LLB after your arts degree. A lot of unis relax a lot when it comes to postgrad entry but are really strict for undergrad.

3rd year architecture failing + dilemma

Resubmission? Is that UTS by any chance? If so I used to study there and they did this in one of my classes (albeit in a different faculty) and half the class, like you described, failed a critical assessment piece which I think, like yours, was worth 50 percent. This particular lecturer was...

    Problem

If getting Ps and Cs then its probably not going to be possible to transfer into Sydney or UNSW law is it? I think you'd need at least a D average from what I've read. I have an arts degree from Sydney and was recently accepted into the UTS JD with not fantastic marks (but there's a long story...

    new centrelink reforms

From the horse's mouth: 2009–10 Commonwealth Budget - Education Overview - Providing assistance where needed It will come into effect 1 Jan but it's very good news. There will be a payment of about 2200 for students on income support and more (much more in fact) if you are moving away from...
