Try reading some the threads where the smart kids dissucss their marks and ranks and their UAI aims. It's sort of a glass is half full or half empty thing. It could motivate you to try really hard or depress you further into the void of motivation.

how can u differentiate something with two variables. i dont know whats going on either. did they give u another equation which u can solve for r or x and get rid of one of them to create an equation with just one variable. ohhh i am so screwed for maths half yearly...

I find comfort in knowing that I am not the only person struggling. If anything it gives me hope to keep trying because I know I am not just competing against organised nerds, but also real people at my own level whom I actually have a chance to sucessfully compete with.

Its impossible to cover two whole hsc core topics in four and a half hours or so. So yeah we didnt finish the booklets in chemistry either, but it was still way worth the price. yes i do know it was free, but still really good.

Oh man i'm doing the same thing as you, saving up now so that i can afford to go to ANU next year. I've already got a lame job lined up for canberra (because i work for a fast food chain haha), but i still don't know how i'm going to manage when i'm down there because my parents earn too much...

umm goto sleep around 12-1am and get up at 7.30 i procrastinate so much in the afternoon that i end up doing my homework when i should be sleeping. if i actually had nothing to do i would go to bed at 10pm but that will never happen
