Anybody NOT going to schoolies at all?

My friends aren't the type that would celebrate schoolies the way I would like to, plus they had no money/are going overseas next year. We had an idea of camping up at the lakes, but it fell through... it would of been nice though :)

    entertainment hsc exam

I didn't mind toooo much, it wasn't my worst exam haha. I just hope I get some marks out of the bullshit I wrote. Did not like the 7 marker lighting question.

Parents reaction to you not making it?

+1. Friendships, love, family, happiness, life experience, wisdom... the ATAR means nothing in the face of what life is really about. I honestly find it hard to believe that parents like that exist, actually. Mine are laid back, too much at times, to the point that I don't think they care if I...

How much money have you spent on your HSC?

Probably only $60 on textbooks, majority of what I got were from teachers and the internet. But then you add in drama costumes... $120? Plus how much freaking paper and ink I used at my house printing everything I needed... It's alot.

    Section III - Personalities

Not many people were happy with the Agrippina question, but I was thrilled! I had studied her so much after the trial, and it all paid off. We had the interpretations question for an assignment, thank god haha. I wrote lots :) Agrippina was my strongest section.

    Section II - Societies

Everyone was so happy with Sparta, but really, I wasn't that thrilled. Was a bit stumped on economy before I remembered the iron bars, and the kings? I don't think I wrote enough, really. Hope I did okay :)

    studying for Hamlet?

About the quote thing - I used one from Claudius, one from Kenneth Branagh, one from the Gravediggers, and the rest were Hamlet's. It doesn't really matter WHO your quotes are from, as long as they provide evidence for what you are saying. Readings/interpretations - You must of watched the...

    Section 3 - Extended Response

Personally I believe it was perfect for Emily Dickinson, if you were concentrating on the 'nature' aspect :)

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

Exactly what I did. But the whole point of my prepared story was that my character had NOTHING, and that he could not even remember if he had ever had anything. All he had was the present, and he could do nothing with it but wish for freedom. Fuck I stuffed this bit up baad, I reckon.

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

As many people have said, chill out, it's over, stop whinging and get studying for paper two. I wish you all the best of luck :)

Will they screw us over for Paper 2?

So everyone remember to read the questions carefully hahahah

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

What I want to know is what those people whose creative responses were about NOT BELONGING did in this section, because I'm one of them and I'm unsure if what I did was correct. I just reinforced that my character has no meaningful relationships, and no-one who cares for him, therefore the...

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Honestly, I'm seeing a 50/50 split of those that did one related and those that two. Are the BoS happy about that? Haha...

    Section 3 - Extended Response

Fuck oath. But my essay was so great! The question was more than I could of ever hoped for, GREAT for Dickinson. 'Hungry All the Years' and my ORM were perfect for the understanding nourishing belonging, and then 'Mystery Pervades' and my ORM was just wonderful for the second bit of a lack of...

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Honestly, I never read that part of the question - yes as soon as I saw the quote I was trying to twist my memorized essay to fit it. I did 2 ORM, and it was only when I got outside the exam room did I realise I should of only done one. Which is a shame, because my essay fit the question...

Less than 24 hours to go.

I've been stressing about English for so long, and even now I'm looking at past questions and sample unseen questions and it's stressing me out even more. I just want it over, it'll feel so good, lol.
