    General Thoughts: Economics

i didn't really research much about the raw mark.... to be honest, i really hope your prediction is accurate 82-83, cause i have a chance getting it. also given the fact mc is pretty hard this year, which will really differentiate the band between candidates and we didn't do as bad as some...

    Having trouble with Modern

i memorised my essays word by word....advantage: you can write the essays real quick IF you get the correct questions and a guaranteed 23-25/25. ...disadvantage: i have only prepared 5 essays for modern, no content memorised...if i didn't get the questions.....then....i am screwed.

i am not so sure about your 14 A. A depreciation of currency will make australian properties cheaper and attract higher foreign investment, not appreciation?

Which Chemistry Option scales the best?

my school purposely changed from shipwreck to industrial chem because the HOD thinks that most top performing schools do industrial chem. he said the difficulties of the options differ, and therefore to make it fair the bos will compare the mark of the options to the mark of the paper, so if...

    Section I - Multiple Choice

i am not a pro in writing essays but once i wrote 4 pages in section 3 and 2 pages in section 4, both ended up equal 15. its more up to your quality not quantity sometimes if you write too much the marker will think you are not getting to the 'meat' quick enough???

    Section I - Multiple Choice

so is there a better answer than A? it defs can't be C, firstly inflation means increase in the overall price level of the goods, if you just put your money in the bank its value will 'erode' away, same as B and D....

    Section I - Multiple Choice

A with assets, during periods of high inflation people are uncertain about future price and usually speculative investment such as golds and properties will increase. this is because these goods are considered 'good shelter' this comes from my text book and obviously it is the only benefit...

    Section I - Multiple Choice

hi five btw i think 13 is B even i put C........ an increase in consumption from 110 to 200 means it increase by 90.... an increase in 90 in C sees an increase in income by 150..... so.....150/90 we get 5/3 so for every dollar increase in consumption there will be 5/3 increase in income...

but that $500 government revenue is obtained through import tax, which is why the price needed to be higher in order to make up the profit. its not like they push the price up to decrease their revenue and THEN pay another 500 dollars to the government.

    Section I - Multiple Choice

what....answer was C pretty easy....increase in the price of oil makes transportation of goods and labours to overseas more expensive, doesn't that hinder and slow down the process of globalisation?
  19. Y

    Section I - Multiple Choice

This. can't believe i got one wrong...could have got full marks. question 3, how is it C???? i put D, firstly, a lower competition in the product market means that inefficient industries still exist and won't decline, which means there will not be any structural unemployment, which reduce the...
