    introduction for mod c essay

Structure according to texts, works much better than themes. Quotes usually sound pretentious - if you want to, you can, but you better back it up with an intelligent response

    Fighting Boredom

2-3 hours is enough, as long as you're doing QUALITY study :/

ACER CSTP scholarship, how does it work?

I don't believe ACER is known for divulging their secrets.. I think all you can get is from their website ACER | CSTP - Overview

    General maths

He's referring to the Einstein ATAR calculator which gives (I presume) an ATAR that corresponds with the relevant mark according to statistics given by students and the Board of Studies. :/

    Mr 100% coaching college

And are going to end up going to Harvard... ><

    Maths

Depends on how confident you are in your maths - if you can grip the concepts well it should be about a 5/10 at most. If you don't.. well it would take a lot more work to mitigate the pain it can bring to those who don't understand everything, and in that case it would be up to 10/10 (it is...

    study timetable

Work at school and you won't need to work as hard at home :)

    Know all Textbook = 90+?

Yeah, it'll work for the sciences.

Electron configuration + Valencies of transition metals

By the way, if you do want to learn the electron configurations for larger elements, look up Pauli's Exclusion Principle.
  10. MetroMattums

How would you transit 4U maths to Yr 10

Calculus. That is all you need to know. Oh and some other random number concepts related to probability and complex numbers.

    Help calculate my ATAR

98-99+ so far, as long as you get band E4 or 6 in everything.

    Motion Help!

For a), determine the equations for displacement against time for the two particles and the equation for velocity against displacement, then add them together and equate the new equation to 180 metres. For b), substitute 90 metres into your equations. Hopefully that should work :/

How detailed are your economics notes?

A couple of scrawls in my class textbook :)

Electron configuration + Valencies of transition metals

Generally, transition metals have a valency of 2+. Don't assume it's true for all metals though, because if they give you something like copper (IV) chloride then the copper has a valency of 4+. In terms of electron configurations, all you have to know are the first 20 elements. After that...

    Hurstville

    Binomial

Just substitute the values nCr, nCr+1, nCr+2, nCr+3 into both sides of the equation and it should come out fine. It takes less lines that it would seem too!
  18. MetroMattums

    integration

    Integrate with complex numbers. :)
  19. MetroMattums

    Polynomials

Sub 1/w in the equation, then take (1/w)^8 out of it, then you get the original equation, which is equal to 0. Hence, 1/w is a root. \because P(w)=w^{8}-\frac{5}{2}w^{4}+1=0 \therefore P(\frac{1}{w})=(\frac{1}{w})^{8}-\frac{5}{2}(\frac{1}{w})^{4}+1...
