I would like to think that as well... but i don't think so. My theory is everyone who did really well are having a nap b4 they study for the English exam. Those who did well don't come on forums and bitch about the exam... they're too busy studying.

i checked my short answer section three times trying to find the sections on financial ratios! I was sad that there wasnt financial ratios in there... wouldve been easy to scab marks. -Multiple choice were easy as! But i wasnt sure on the vertical integration question...question 16 to be exact...

WHAT ?! I am absolutely shocked by this fact ! Just for the trials I slept 10 hours before the maths exam and ended up getting 73%, whereas for my Economics exam i rested my eyes for 1 hour before 2 hours of the exam and scored 90%. But woah! I better sleep then.

I have exactly 16 hours between my legal studies exam and economics exam to cram...i would sleep but i reckon I'd be too nervous to sleep and would just spend the whole night lying in bed being nervous. So might as well open my book and read over the notes...

I find it when i study too much, i put pressure on myself to do well and therefore do bad (this only occurs for mathematics though). I remember back to my first ever preliminary exam (legal studies), i studied so much that i was so nervous and felt sick... i ended up getting 98% so i guess...

OMG! ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BUT FINANCE! PLEASE! I just can't get myself to memorise and write on finance, if its in the multiple choice and short answers, that would be fine but NOT for the extended response. I hope its global and ER.

I'm praying that one of the essay question will be on the case study. I have a feeling that this year's short answer section will be based on economic issues and government's response to these eco issues.

One of our family friend went to Pal College last year and got 99.35 UAI, so it is fair to say that the kind of education that pal college offers is pretty good. Just to be fair, i know a girl that went there and got a UAI that wasnt brilliant (in the 70s). Ok, so the thing is my parents are...

-constantly complimenting -be patient -be empathetic and know your student's ability -expose students to hsc type questions -expect that many students may not know the most basic things (thats why they need tutoring in the first place) and be willing to explain and re-explain basic theories...
