That is very untrue realy. There is alot of different and useful content covered in geography that wouldn't be in any other subject. Ithink it also touches on alot of development/humanitarian studies which is good. There is alot of different aspects to geography, some are very similar to things...

And that is why Science-ish students like to call geography "colouring in" class ;)

How did you all find the exam? Personally I found it alright, the first extended response te a bit to start with but, I got it after a while :) The ecosystems one was the easiest question in my opinion.

Yeah, it can. It is a very open ended question and is asking two things, which would require alot of detail.

The factors I would mention as placing ecosystems at risk would be: Human induced modifications (intentional and inadvertent) such as species introduction, habitat destruction, hunting, pollution and so on. Natural sources of stress such as drought, flood, fire, volcanic eruption, disease etc...

True, I am guessing we would probably see alot of those essays with pretentious topics that are quite obviously written only for the marks... and not for the student's own interest. My investigation question was rathe simple: What impact did the black deah have on england after it's passing?

Yeah exactly... so many hours of hard work went into that and I was extremely please with my final product.
