From most liked to least liked Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 Physics Biology Chemistry and Englsih Advanced I don't really hate any of my subjects but enjoy some above others.

Are you sure? Because the Band cut off last year was pretty low and like 6% of the cohort got Band 6s (which is substantially more than Standard English).

Well I know some people who did worse than expected but let's not make this thread negative.

It's a trend that all the teachers in my school that have a poor understanding of the system are pretty bad teachers. So for my schools your claim would probably hold true. Not sure about other schools though. There probably are some good teachers who don't understand the system very well.

Well the career advisor could have checked by putting their marks in a calculator.

I don't understand why so many teachers (especially in the low ranked schools) don't understand the system. Seriously didn't the Board of Studies NSW notify them about how it works?

Actually your internal mark will only be affected based on your cohort's performance in the external exam. If your internal mark is 99 and that's the top mark and the top external exam mark is 70 then your internal mark will be moderated to 70.
