So now that USYD's had their first day and UNSW's has been going on for a few days, how's everyone's O-Week been? I reckon UNSW >>> USYD's. So much more fun stuff to do. Yeah the activities might be more "childish" e.g. Quidditch match, pie throwing etc, but that suits me as opposed to USYD...

Fuck you SCIF1121. Why the hell was I not able to see and enrol into the Fri 9-11 tute (which was shown as having vacancies on the UNSW timetable), and given Fri 12-2 which classes with CHEM and BABS lectures and now you give me the second choice of Mon 4-6pm?! Why can't you just open up Wed...

+1. I liked Bad Romance so much better. In fact, I just like Fame Monster so much better overall, though I think that's just because I'm attracted to music that explores dark themes and emotions. Yeah it's way out of her range.

USYD I feel relies a little too heavily on its prestigious reputation. At first I thought it was just my experience, having studied in a very specific discipline, but it seems to be the case for a lot of other degrees (such as dent).

That would've been a good idea actually...but in the end I think they canceled the assignment. Still, it ruined that last week of holidays for everyone, which is just slack considering they only get 3 weeks of holidays (IIRC) between now and the end of the year.

NOOOOO!!!!! Don't! My friend's doing third year postgrad dent at USYD and she said, tell anyone who's considering doing it at USYD--go elsewhere. The faculty's really disorganised, e.g. they had to get a full set of extracted teeth for an assignment this semester, but they told them just a week...
