    Who will you vote for?

i disagree with the greens less than i do with the rudd labor government now. also, rudd has been pretty disappointing; he hasn't made any profound decisions during his term in my opinion.

the "my score was 10+ points lower than i expected" thread

so it was 57.30. you know, i made jokes over people getting this type of score the whole year - but when it happens to yourself, it's so difficult to come to terms with it and why i deserved it. i was hardly the worst in the year, i was last in 1 subject; but i always was decent in my other...

the "my score was 10+ points lower than i expected" thread

thanks for that melsc, i think the private college option might be a good avenue despite the cost - there are quite a few places which offer similar courses to the one i wanted to do in uni (media). i've thought about repeating one or two subjects for a year, but that is an unattractive option.

the "my score was 10+ points lower than i expected" thread

hopefully it's a 60. marks went 77, 75, 74, 72 and then 50 for maths which dragged me right down. how wonderfully ironic since i go to a top 10 school, hah.

the "my score was 10+ points lower than i expected" thread

just entered my marks into UMAX and it came out with a terrible ATAR of 56, SAM and Einstein returned with similar results. completely has undercut my expectations by 20 or so points. i have absolutely no idea what to do now, uniwise it's at least 27 points away from my course of choice - i did...

    FIFA World Cup?

Bullshit we would spend $2.9 billion on stadia - only upgrades to a few stadiums are needed. Stadium Australia was only $680 million, the Melbourne rectangular stadium is $288 million to build from scratch. The only necessary stadium to be built would be one in Adelaide, but they may just go...

Looking for a particular jeans. HELP....

by brown ropey material as the logo, are you talking about the top patch or the stitching on the back pockets? if the latter, they are definitely imperial brand jeans - fit would pretty close to what you've described.

Looking for a particular jeans. HELP....

Just got an EAS Email. Did I get APPROVED? (serious thread)

no, not yet. basically UAC is just informing you that the outcome of your EAS application will be delivered this friday. i received the exact email too, any correspondence from UAC makes me nervous - in the back of my mind i somehow hope it's an early entry into M&C at USYD haha..

    Views on smoking?

sorry, what i meant is that because the central coast has a smaller population you would be less likely to find an intelligent person and who perhaps smokes.
