Same INTERNAL (ie assessment) mark, your HSC mark is calculated from the average of your internal and external marks. It will depend on your HSC exam whether you guys get the same marks (highly unlikely) or not.

Yup, definitely. This isn't entirely true.. many schools don't do the syllabus in order, but considering prelims are only 3 terms it's a bit above the 30% mark.
