can an individual get into engineering w only 2u math

Like other people have said, there are bridging courses you can apply for if you don’t do 3U in Year 11/12 and your course requires it. That being said though, for universities like UNSW where it says assumed knowledge, it means that they have the assumption you already understand that level of...

    gotta buy a laptop

Vouch! I really love my iPad, it’s easy to use and carry around. If you get a keyboard with it then it’s basically a mini laptop and it’s super easy to get work done

Is it a good idea to go back rewrite previous essays?

I mean if you’re looking to improve, then yeah. But also I usually just look at feedback and then do another seperate question then apply the feedback and ask my teacher to mark it.

    Does God exist? Part 2

In the words of Søren Kierkegaard, “God’s existence cannot be proved, nor can the existence of God be refuted.” Just because God’s existence cannot be proved does not necessarily mean the faith one has in God can be diminished. For example, in Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism)...

Do I need to retake my HSC (and repeat Year 11 and 12) if I want to get into University?

You definitely don’t need to restart your HSC. Look into non-school leavers programs, also some people go to Tafe first to get necessary qualifications and then transfer to University. Your struggles don’t mean you need to give up on your dreams of further education at all :) There are pathways...

    english advanced rubric

Textual form and purpose as in the use of structure, language techniques and devices. Rather than focusing on themes you look at the text through a deeper lens - analyse the structure, language techniques and devices (or how the text is put together entirely) and how this affects the meaning...

Got into year 11, need to change a subject before year 12, how long will it take?

Do you mean drop out of school entirely? If not, then definitely don’t. Talk to coordinator, deputy or whatever about this ASAP, they might be able to make some changes where you can switch the subject, but you need to hurry before there’s too much content to catch up on. Also, you can drop it...

Thoughts on the Ali Abdaal spaced repetition, active recall, military-industrial complex?

There’s no ‘cheat’ to studying imo, all comes down to personal preference and the way you personally learn. Everyone has their own style of studying, what works for someone may not work for you. As you progress in studying and developing your skills, there are definitely effective study methods...

for those who got 99+ what did your study pattern look like

Honestly having my best friends at school w me makes it really fun, i think a lot of people forget about the social aspect of year 12 and how we wont see a lot of our peers after graduation :) but at the same time studying around them is super hard so i have a seperate friend group for that HAHAHHA
