Leaving school and studying at OUA as an alternative entry?

I believe you should apply at an on-campus uni and stay enroled at OUA until you know you got accepted. Otherwise you might be rejected and be unable to go to uni at all.

    Baulkham > JRAHS?

Ruse will always be first unless there's some explosion at the school that kills/critically wounds the top 50% of kids etc etc It's easier to blame/insult others than it is to insult yourself.

Who IS studying for trials and what are you doing?

Notes are a good way to study, but make sure you guys are doing some past papers/questions while you are doing notes!

4 options in MC. 1 is completely wrong, 1 is half right/wrong, 1 appears to be the best answer and 1 is the best answer. Note that i said "best answer" and not correct answer as sometimes the answers are subjective. Use your gut to decide which one is the right answer. Failing that, you...

Help with picking subjects for year 11 & 12?

Most people in your position would pick: Advance English 3U Maths Chemistry Biology Physics/Legal Studies/Economics/Modern History For med, you should do bio rather than physics. Do extension english only if you like and are good at english - apparently it's more to do with concepts rather...

Who IS studying for trials and what are you doing?

Costant revision is the way to go and heaps of past papers. Getting into a small group of trusted peers might be the way to go with notes if you don't seem to be able to do it on your own :)

How Much Hours of Study Should I do?????

Yeah, constant revision is the way to go. Cramming is great for people who are good at cramming but it isn't the best thing to do... +1 to the part in bold.

    Terminology for pracs

Excellent post :) These are things i would add to your post: Accuracy can be improved by improving the sensitivity of equipment used (ie 5 dp rather than 0dp) Reliability - alter the method until results have a really small range. Validity - Conclusion of experiment must answer the aim.

    Big Words in English

It's not necessary at all, especially if you don't know how to use the words in the right context. Just make sure your sentences flow and you'll be alright. Of course if you know some "big words", throw them in every now and again but avoid using too much jargon.

    ATAR estimate please

Pretty much anything you want it to be. If you are first in your school for all your subjects, your ATAR will be determined solely by YOUR performance in the HSC exams. So i am going to say 90+
