Hey, just got into Macquarie University and am planning on majoring in Mathematics. The 2019 handbook for Mathematics seems to have a pretty good update with the whole Applied and Pure Mathematics courses.

I wouldn't recommend dropping Advanced, instead, I would insist that you continue advanced; no point in dropping it (like BLIT2014 said; "it doesn't guarantee that you'll get top marks in Standard").

When answering a short answer question, I tend to write it out as if it's an argument within one of my essays. This may seem pretty bleak and useless; but it works for me.

To be honest, you're not doing really bad; English just takes time and practice. You can achieve an outstanding mark in English. Remember, if you want something you can get it; provided that you work for it, anything is possible. :D
