    Haha no way

Its all over now my dudes! Anyone up to play minecraft? 😆
  3. Arrowshaft

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Yep. Got tan theta = v^2/rg

Same! With string question, duuuude I didn’t realise that the Picture showed the front of the car until 20 mins before the exam Hahahah, I thought it was linear motion and was so confused for a while. I hate how subtle they are with the diagrams. Got it in the end though

How do you think you went?
  6. Arrowshaft

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

It was pretty weird, however, overall I liked it. Especially the question with the string and the car! Seemed like a 4u mechanics question
  7. Arrowshaft

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

    How’d everyone find it? 😃
  8. Arrowshaft

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

    yeah that should be good

Haha, I totally forgot it asked to include ONE other area in physics 😂. Sorry about that! But that’s just basic description of technology anyway; you can talk about the Hafele Keating atomic clock experiment, Fizeau and Foucault in determining the speed of light, etc.

Sorry, kinda forgot what the question was asking half way haha, didn't double check so please be wary. Also, do not write this much by the way, I just wanted to give you some extra info @Faye19.

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Technology plays a crucial rule in developing new models and ideas of matter, especially in the frontier of particle physics - the Standard Model. Particle accelerators such as the one at SLAC (Stanford linear accelerator centre) use linear accelerators to accelerate protons through a series of...

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

For this , you’d do your normal calculation of energy released and divide by 2 since there are 2 alpha particles which share the energy released.

I noticed that too. I would just take their responses as a guide rather than an examplar.
  14. Arrowshaft

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Yep, that works. There has to be at least SOME tie though, make sure to link it to your argument and not be chaotic and unorthodox.

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

Hmm that was my same thought process. Stay in Australia till undergrad and then pursue post grad abroad

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

That sounds amazing. The only issue is, if I’m going to move, is it worth going to a local uni or is it better studying abroad?

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

ANU sounds cool! It is ranked 20 from QS. I was planning on doing a double major in maths and physics for advanced science at USYD and possibly combining it with comp sci, idk. Is ANU good for sciences though?

    Physics Predictions/Thoughts

the formulae you should use are, K_{max}=hf-\phi K_{max}=q_eV_s

    Maths is haha.
