    HSC timetable

I know some subject combinations for others at my school and I can already tell how much they will hate their timetable.

It's okay but I hate that I have a week long gap in the middle. I'm happy that I don't have 2 exams in a day though

I’m 95% sure I crossed my hands at least 10 times. For any long curve you won’t need to cross your hands, but for short 90 degree corners you probably can cross. And crossing your hands definitely makes the manoeuvres easier and faster. I’m pretty sure you aren’t allowed to leave your hands...

syllabus dotpoints for year 11 and 12

If you’re looking for the dot points, go onto a subject from this and scroll down until you see a downloadable pdf. There should be Year 11 and Year 12 as headings from which you can find the dot points for each topic

Does anyone have prac writeups or similar with results that I could use

My school's third assessment for year 12 is a dot point summary of the syllabus for mod 5, 6, and 7. As a part of this, we are required to do prac writeups and give our results, however, 80% of the time, our prac's don't work and so we are required to just make up values for this task. I was...

Not sure if you’ve used https://www.easydrivingtest.com.au/driver-knowledge-tests/hpt yet but that’s what I went through. They’re literally the exact clips that were in my test so I knew what to look for

    Should I drop MX1?

Still having to do the tasks for it is the worst. I'm lucky in that my school doesn't give us homework to complete (they wouldn't check it anyways but it probably doesn't help us that we don't get given any). I have 3 take-home maths assessments due this term and having to complete them...

    Scaling

I had a teacher show me the scaling graphs based on HSC score to atar contributions and an 88 in eco gave a 95.2 atar contribution, whereas an 88 in physics gave a 95.5 atar contribution. Just depends upon your interests I guess and which one you could sustain for longer and study for better

    guesstimate the avg mark/26

I wouldn't be good at judging things like this since I go to a low ranking school with a small MX2 class and we have a take home task for our second assessment so I don't have a frame of reference for it. questions don't seem too unfamiliar with those you could find in other places so I would...

    2024 HSC Chat

Depends on what I'm trying to do. If I'm working on a take home maths assessments, I'm definitely going to listen to music, but if I'm doing anything requiring words like english or practice tests I won't listen to music. If I'm just doing practice questions for studying to keep my skills up...
