  • Hey jenny. For biology, are you just reading over all your notes for a certain topic and then doing past papers straight away? Or are you revising each point and then practicing that point? Because what I'm doing is revising a few points, doing questions from the Dot point book and vice versa.
    I was going to go to henry mak's hiphop dance class but I couldn't because I was at the gym beforehand and I would have arrived when it was over.

    idk about hip hop. I love kpop dance :)
    im probs going to crossover on fridays. not so sure as of now. but thankfully i have a free dance class coz i participated in the CNY parade :)
    You better go back to study and get into medicineness. I once wanted to become a doctor. Doctor said no lollipops for Spiral.
    log_ base(a) b=x

    can be written as a^x =b

    Similarly,

    log_base{2} 4 = 2

    log_base{3} 27 =3

    Now,

    log_base{e} x=-1

    That means e^{-1}=x

    x=1/e
    Oh you're talking about the log function. I thought you were talking about something else.

    This is because...WOLFRAM ALPHA only plots a portion of it. Your log graph should look like this. Use Geogebra.

    Firstly find x and y intercepts.

    When y=0, 0=xln x

    Therefore x=1, 0

    So there is a mark on the origin and at (1,0)

    If I investigate what happens as x approaches infinity.

    (large number) ln (large number) = large number, so y -> infinity

    Now we need to see if we have any maximum or minimum turning points,

    d/dx(x ln x) = ln x+ 1

    For stat points, dy/dx=0

    ln x + 1=0

    x=1/e, when x = 1/e y = -1/e

    Nature testing:

    Should get minimum.
