Ngl, I'm not sure if I have ever been studying properly since year 7. I used to never study every day and I would do homework tho . I always get my homework done and I do well in tests. But after I've finished all my homework(I know its not studying but ig to me it is) I dont know what to study. Especially now since last year the only times I ever studied was 2 weeks before assessment block in Year 7-10. Like I genuinely dont know what to do to study so I'll just be doing other stuff ig. So, I just wanted to ask how would you or do you study?

Do u recommend active recall for physics and business studies too??
by active recall do u mean flashcards or smth like that, could u give me examples?
Yes, anything with heaps of content. I can't speak for phys, but flashcards for business is what I would recommend

by active recall i mean speaking to yourself about the whole topic and covering all of it or just writing everything on ur whiteboard or notebook

Im like the least qualified to give advice (i study 3 days before any exam), but lowkey i just listen in class throughout the term (i dont do hw or class work) and when exams are in a couple of days i spam past papers, but lowkey thats bc
1. I "memorise" by listening
2. None of my subjects are memorisation heavy - u could argue bio but like i never memorise my bio i just understand it

For physics it's less important to memorise or be able to actively recall information compared to other subjects. I'd make sure you intuitively understand the concepts. This is quite hard, but I found I was able to do it if I extended myself beyond the HSC syllabus. Ofc this can lead down a rabit hole as physics gets hard to say the least, but at least you'll be able to understand the simple stuff in HSC at a better level. Most questions in physics are easy to explain if you have a somewhat intuitive understanding of the concepts.

Also, get good at maths, really helps with physics HSC and beyond.
