I asked my friend who got into nsg last year for entry into year 9, she said she got results late september, and for interviews she made a script before the interview that linked to the school values, talked about her strengths and weaknesses etc, and rehearsed it a few times.
Also for interviews, since you asked earlier:

thanks for asking. i did the interview yesterday and it was pretty short, but i think that’s because the principal was running behind on schedule.
