hey i'm not sure what the senior entrance exams are like but we've only just started the year 12 aspects + content in dr du so I'd say youd probably be tested on all types of differentiation (inc diffing ln, trig and inverse trig) bc thats what we covered over the last few terms.

Since it is now term 3, anything preliminary can be tested.

%ages:
A1: 75%+
A2: 60%+
A3: 50%+
B: <50%

all multichoice. Although each qn is given marks based on difficulty. I.e. some questions are 10marks, other 30marks. The total test is out of 100.

Yeah as average boreduser has said, the exam should be all multiple choice with varying marks for different questions and topics! though im not too sure about if the percentage ranges are correct bc back then when I did it the A1 cutoff was at least 80% :) + esp with senior classes, the a1 classes are pretty much jam packed so theres a higher cutoff im very sure

possibly, dr du learns some content ahead of time.
yeah but dr du entrance exams will never test you on content they haven't even taught to current students they only ever test you on assumed knowledge/past content

they do teach yr 12 content to yr 11 students. Some of their entrance tests even have out of syllabus content e.g. planes once you get to yr 12.

yeah they are doing that rn bc they teach ext 1 one term ahead of schools (given they've alr gone through all adv topics alr) and one term ahead of y11 t3 rn is year12, but what you call to be y12 content in dr du terms is yr 11 t3 content. In dr du they always explicitly state what is actual y12 course content and what is not but their entrance tests will generally be on content they've covered the previous term so in that sense, there is y12 syllabus content but dr du expects you to know this from the previous term. Sry i kinda got confused
