Also, had my first history extension lesson today... loved it! Any opinions on history extension thus far?

doing history extension also and I totally forgot there is also an exam lol. bit anxious about having to write basically a historical thesis but I'm gonna try and connect my topic to music extension to make my life a bit easier.

Everyone in English Advanced 2025 will unfortunately need to read their actual texts in full instead of watching/reading summaries, as they will likely question you with extract(s) in the exam because they didn't this year and didn't last year.

wanna share what youre currently doing/having issues with i think its fine but for me i def need to work on memory/understanding cause everything is kinda related and you (or i) just need a big mind map to scribe on for a few hours maybe ill make it an activity for myself im still hung up on how moss reproduce and how2spell i mean i cant give u any solid advice but imhere 4u

i swear there was some coffee caffeine discourse in the 2024 hsc forum its just that the 2025 is so dry and sad and barren compared to that and 2026 i personally like i taste yum and say that it doesnt affect me cause it didnt until i drank too much and i was wondering why i couldnt sleep but i just have it for fun cause it tastes good...cuasesugar....but normally ijust have coffee for taste it doesnt really feel very rejuvenating or anything to me maybe i need it warm...milo

thank u for this but im mainly struggling with finding time to study, my teacher is moving pretty fast in class and my class is really loud and big so its even worse so i cant focus, even the school knows its bad but they said they will change it next term, i have no clue how to study for it b4 in yr 11 i did pretty decent was somehwere around top but the content was nothing and i would just memorise like the week before and i would do good. I feel like when i learn one thing i forget the rest.

thats really valid and it sucks to hear that your class is an obstruction to your learning i can relate to knowing when the topic is freshly introduced and then immediately forgetting the moment the next starts it just kinda feels like my brain cant retain anything which is not very good which is probably not helpful

i guess it depends on if your struggle to study is personal or external e.g time management or environment/extra curricular/tutoring and itll kinda vary depending on what you're already prioritising but uhhh gotta make a start somewhere eug i technically do have time for study...but dont which is not good and i guess you just need a push from the self awareness like thought into action kinda thing i dont know you tell me its easier said than done though ofc

Yeahh there's a lot, but I feel like there's actually no need to learn things in so much detail. If you look at the past paper questions, it's pretty clear what's expected. By how moss reproduces, do you mean alternation of generations? Because my teacher said it wasn't really important to know it as long as you get the key points.
