For the fucking electric chargers question:

Screenshot 2024-11-03 at 10.20.36 pm.png

What I wrote for private benefit was increased profit revenue for the manufacturers and operators of this electric vehicle charging station which are likely to be businesses/corporations in sustainable industries. For social benefit I explained the possibility of decreased overall pollution from petrol and diesel (increased air quality) in streets in this local area as people are more incentivised to buy electric cars to replace petrol/diesel as a new favourable/optimal charging location has been established.

Did I get the full 3 marks?

I reckon its likely 3 marks. You could also mention that the private benefit is increased employment as well but yeh probably 3.

well the cutoff will be 85 raw which isn't as easy to get. Require splits of 17,34,17,17

Well based of the solutions I got 18/20 on MC, very confident on 37/40 on SA, as long as I don't face annihilation in the essay section I should scrape through to get 85. Is 85 usually the cutoff?

Getting 37/40 should secure a band 6 but don't overanalyse it as short answers require specificity and conciseness and who knows how they mark it. But honestly your splits can look at 18, 35, 16, 16- just going at worst - thats 85 which is band 6. So you should but essay questions especiallly the first one required a lot of stats and information. Me personally i know i got 18 in multies just can't remmeber only one of my solutions so likely split is 18, 35, 18, 16 which is 87. If you think you smashed short answer which would singifncantly boost your mark you are looking at a range of 87-92 if you did well in essays as well.

For that question, I wrote that the private benefit was for individuals with electric cars having to pay less for fuel - I'm rethinking that now and that's not what they were looking for was it
