i'm not in year 11 or 12 but there won't be any harm in trying to get ahead early. just don't do way too much and put too much pressure on yourself, otherwise you'll burn out by the time year 12 starts and you won't have any motivation to do anything else.
but yeah, i've found that having a basic grasp of the content before it is taught in class is immensely helpful. so i'd suggest just skimming through the topics and finding key stuff you may need to know, if not you'll learn it in class anyway.

I did that for yr11 and it was worth it, I've done ab 1 term of yr12 content already. It's def worth it, just take it slowly :)

no clue what ur subjects are, but I tried to slam the whole 2u and 3u math syllabus out of the way. I procrastinated quite a bit so I was nowhere close and in hindsight, I probably should have put more effort in. Ik many people, especially those who do 4u, try to get ahead as much as possible, if not complete the syllabus. This allows them to not only focus on their other subjects but for the rest of the year, just grind past papers.

Do like a bit of a head start for your subjects (make notes or read thru modules) but don't push yourself too hard during these holidays

Good to start and do it in moderation. You can achieve the same amount of rest a holiday with no schoolwork would give you if you're intentional with how much you study

not worth it. feel free to catch up on term 1 content but this is going to be your last actual school holidays where you can chill. during year 12 you have to spend ur school holidays studying so you dont get much of a rest. give yourself an actual break or youre going to feel burnt out by the time you get back to school. you need to give your body a rest. if you dont rest youre going to be more prone to illness, which then will fuck with ur attendance and studying.

i wouldn’t recommend the whole course because that is probably gonna be too much. i did study ahead for 4u and physics because i knew that they were going to be the subjects with the most amount of content, i did end up finishing most of 4u but i only did 1 subchapter of cambridge a day so it wasn’t like all my time was spent on it. it’s prob better to just catch up on year 11 stuff or get 1-2 modules ahead but at a very slow pace, so that you don’t get burned out and most importantly you do stuff other than study before you spend the next 10 months with most of your time allocated to studying
