Hey,

I came tied first to the decimal in my internal rankings. I heard that schools are meant to give a definite first place but my teacher says that he is gonna submit my rank as tied first with one other person. I'm just wondering how my internal mark would be allocated if two people are first.

if two people are tied for first for rank, the average of the two highest exam marks are used to moderate the assessment mark.

does it round up at least? ie 2 highest was 95 and 96 will it be 96 for internal?

I believe so, since HSC results are reported in whole numbers, rounded up where applicable.
